I had a fascinating stay at this historic hotel, with its beautiful rooms and charming moat. The restaurant also offered a pleasant dining experience. Although the hotel may not have had five-star service, I was generally happy with the staff and enjoyed exploring the different rooms. The location, while not close to major attractions, provided a picturesque garden and a chance to "get away from everything.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

Warm welcome. Pleasant and friendly service. Room was inviting - when we arrived the door was open and lamps lit. Gourmet middag was excellent. Freedom to choose how many courses one would like. Breakfast selection was very good.
Nothing to complain about but one must take into account that this is an old building and steps could be a problem for those not so able. Our room had no wardrobe, just hooks, but good drawer space. This was no problem as we were only there for one night.

Easy accessible from the main highway. Lots of character in this castle- like hotel with good rooms and a good quality restaurant
Only one menu is served in the restaurant, which was very good but you cannot choose alternative if that's not your taste.

Located perfectly near the highway to Hirtshals, Vraa Slotshotel Tylstrup offers easy access for travelers coming from the ferry. the restaurant, situated in the former cellar, exudes a charming and unique atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a quiet and secluded environment, away from everything. the rooms are comfortable and the service provided by the polite staff is commendable. the breakfast is satisfactory, and the early serving time accommodates early departures. the hotel also offers a big parking area for convenience.
One negative aspect is the lack of attention to detail in terms of cleanliness, particularly in the bathroom.

This place is a hidden gem! We were amazed by the historical rooms and the beautiful moat surrounding the hotel. The staff, although not always proficient, were friendly and made us feel welcome. The room we stayed in, located in one of the towers, was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the clean sheets and enjoyed a hot shower. Additionally, the hotel provided great amenities such as ironing facilities, a sitting area, and a terrace where we could relax and enjoy the view of the garden. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals, and we were impressed by the in-room breakfast service. We also enjoyed the bar/lounge area and had a wonderful time dining outdoors. The staff were attentive and provided great assistance, ensuring we had an enjoyable stay.
We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Spent Christmas at this beautiful property and it was wonderful! the historical charm of the property added to the festive mood. the restaurant served up delicious food, with ample portions and great variety. the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, with stunning fields viewable from all angles.
Only downside was the lack of outdoor activities. Although situated close to a couple of towns, there wasn't much to see nearby.

The hotel offered a charming and relaxing atmosphere, with its old castle-like building and beautiful surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ensuring that our needs were promptly taken care of. The room itself was clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the hotel had a great kitchen, serving some of the best dinners we have ever had. The food was delicious and seemed to be a popular attraction for both guests and locals alike.
One downside of the hotel was its location. It was quite secluded, far away from any major towns or attractions.
